Adult Ministry

A variety of Adult Ministries are offered at St. Paul's United Methodist Church, from Educational opportunities to Outreach Ministries. St. Paul's has an active United Methodist Women with two circles that meet monthly. Our United Methodist Men have several new year activities set for the coming weeks. Check out our UMW and UMM pages for details.

Each week there are a variety of Bible Study opportunities for adults of all ages. See our Adult Learning page for more detailed information about educational opportunities for adults.

There is always something for the adults to do from singing in the choir, playing hand bells, preparing dinners for the needy of the community, sewing, participating in work trips, and visiting, to name a few. Check out the many ways our adults are involved in growing and expressing their faith.

The Seekers Bible Study Group

This group meets Monday mornings at 11:00 a.m. in the Church Library. For more information contact Pastor Matthew at 301.334.2391.
Our Adult Choir

The Adult Choir under the direction of Herb Lambert meets each Thursday evening at 7:00 p.m. in the Good Shepherd Room. Each Sunday morning during the 10:45 a.m. Worship, the choir provides special anthems. Many times they are accompanied by special instrumentalists. During the many varied seasons of the church year, they provide special choral concerts and cantatas. Especially during the Advent, Christmas, Lent and Easter Seasons they present a variety of music and special Worship Services. If you enjoy singing or play an instrument and would like to be part of our music ministry, feel free to speak with us about your musical gifts. We are always looking for persons to join the choir or accompany the choir instrumentally.
